A few Lake Superior Pics

Thanks for the compliments !

I threw in a few more "windy weather" pics and the Port of Grand Marais, MI to the top story.

Thanks for the date stamps on the pictures. I know/hoping you could not have that much Ice and snow on the lake already.

Gorgeous pics! Thanks for sharing. I've got to get up that way some time! Beautiful scenery, but I don't think I could take the winter you'd have to live through to get to summer.

Thanks !

We run our boating boating season from May 1st (marina opens) through the end of October - just pulled her two weeks ago.
It's off the boating subject but winter is not that bad.
We get lots a snow which allows you to really enjoy it if you like the outdoors - snowmobiling, xcountry skiing, snowshoing etc. Ice fishing for big Lake Trout is alot of fun too.

This was very refreshing, thanks. It also brought back memories. I stayed at a bed and breakfast in Grand Marais years ago. There was a bar downtown that had one of the best hamburgers I've ever had. Hope it's still there.

The Lake Superior Brewery - still there, great burgers - big enough for two.
Their brewed beer and cream soda are great too !
