WOW Mike....Look nice there.
Camera takes great footage. What did you get?

I bought a Panasonic DCM-TZ5. it's a little point and shoot camera that also shoots HD video

If you want to see a higher resolution version.

give it a minute or two before it starts playing.

Cool!!! It is a dogs live just riding around it does not get much better!

What is the tidal range in that area. Sure looked like it must have a big range based on some of the pilings.

nice video...great thing about being a .me and mac person..

I've been looking for a small digital camera to take some decent HD video as well. Can you zoom in in video mode or is it once you start that's it like my old digital camera when I put it in video mode?

How are the still photos with this camera?

Couldn't have picked a calmer day, that's for sure. Thanks for sharing!!

what's great is you can zoom in/out while shooting video, almost all the point and shoots I looked at couldn't do that, but this one can, and it's nice and quiet. 10X optical zoom with optical image stabilization. You can see that even though I'm holding this small thing with one hand while driving the dinghy, the image is really steady, not that i'm launching off any waves. I'll see how it does in 2' chop. Nice 28mm wide angle lens too. 1.5 seconds from power on to snapping a pic, super fast.

tidal range looks to be about 8'. not sure.

Thanks for the info Mike,

Just ordered one and will use it this weekend for my son's college graduation and give it to him as a gift as he doesn't have a digital camera. Of course he'll have to lend it back to me to use on the boat from time to time.

Impressive. Nice stuff Mike.

Nothing better than calm water.
