We had a cookout to go to tonight so we decided to do a day trip to Lake Wylie.
Paige starts the day with do you notice I am wearing my Sea Ray shirt
We get to the ramp and there is no wait, I comment on how much I love paying $5 to use Copperhead Island
Check Gear Lube prior to putting boat in water and think about our poor friend RazorRobb and hope that he ended up finding some gearlube in no-where Washington. Could have probably went to any boat ramp and found someone that had some available.
Here is coming out of the cove at Copperhead Island
Here is a picture of people already achored out at a sand bar
We then just cruise around
Then we run into this guy and I wonder to myself if Gary and Frank C can tell me how many rules this guy is breaking, you will see the three chairs on the platform, I got the camera a little late there were two people sitting in those seats, you can see the second one moving back in, we passed them later both were back out side just a waving as we passed them.
We then decide to anchor out in a cove
Time for lunch
Then a little relaxing
Time to cruise around a little more and then call it a day a little early. Party cove looks a little more busy.
Then we go by and take a look at Lake Wylie Marina, always nice to see what new boats are out there.
Then we take a look at some of the houses
Then stop to look to see what is going on at the public ramp
Head to the $5 ramp or $50 a season ramp and here is what we see as we come around the corner.
As we get closer here is what we see
Time to load the boat, notice the other two ramps are empty as well at the top of the picture except for one jet ski waiting for the guy parking the vehicle to come back.
Say goodbye to Copperhead Island
Did not see many cops on the water, maybe they were all out on the highway.
No traffic today, is it not a holiday
Boat still looks good
Almost home
Take a look at the gas prices as we head home
Boat is back home safe in its spot.
Cook outs tomorrow and Sunday so will not be able to head back to the lake, but had a very nice relaxing day today on the water.
