A/C Fan Speed on 7k BTU unit on 2007 Sundancer 260

Background: With the SMXir control, I can put the fan speed on automatic or select one of five speeds.

In the mid-cabin the air comes out very strong. On the v-berth it comes out more 'normal,' which I guess makes sense since this is farther away from the unit.

Now my question: Is the difference between speeds very, very subtle? I can hardly tell speed 1 from speed 5 in the v-berth next to the control. There is a difference, but almost negligible.

The cabin cools fine regardless of speed.

Mine is the same way although I don't use the manual setting at all since I see no reason to.
