Hello Friends,

As one of our many winter projects, we are replacing the tv/vhs housing in the salon for one that will support a 26in flat screen.

Several of you have accomplished this already. In order for us to complete our job professionally, we need around 2 lineal yards of the foam-backed vinyl to replace part of the overhead and cover the new box. Calling Sea Ray and the local Sea Ray dealer has been fruitless. Any recommendations on a source for the material? Perferably in the North East?

Only the very best,
MV2/JV2

It may just be a shot in the dark but these folks http://www.fpmarine.com/ are in Cape Canaveral, Fl very near the Merritt Island Sea Ray plant. They deal in a lot of discontinued or overstock items that come out of the Sea Ray plant as well as a few others. Might be worth a look.

Good Luck and post some pics of what you are doing.

Thank you for the lead... I just got back from the boat for an initial fit-up of the new flat screen housing. It looks good (in my opinion) with a narrow profile. When I get it up on the bulkhead, I'll post a few pictures.

I need some of this stuff to recover a new "shelf" I made this winter for the starboard side of my salon windows. I was able to get somthing that was not a 100% match but close from these guys:

I ordered some samples and ended up going with "putty" it is a pretty good match.
