Good Morning,
Picked up my new to me 300 Sundancer yesterday.
She ran great, and felt really good around 3300 to 3400 rpms...

She has twin 5.7L EFI, with Alpha's and Stainless props.

Does this seem about right for cruising RPMS?

That's a nice boat. Those engines and drives should do real well in that boat. I would guess you burn about 12 gph at that rpm on each engine. But the boat should get moving pretty well, so your mpg should be good - well over 1.0.

You should pay attention to your props. The boat may not have the best props for your situation. It can make a lot of difference. I've found the Mercury Mirage props to be good. Just make sure your bottom and outdrives are clean before you adjust anything.
