95 330 da chartplotter and possible new radar

On my `95 330, it still has the original Raytheon radar and chartplotter. The chartplotter doesn't work, which is no big deal to me since I use my IPAD mini with Garmin charts. I was wondering what to put in its place on the helm.

And has anyone purchased the Foruno wireless radar.? That looks tempting to me.

Rick, I haven't used the Furuno, but for advice you're not far from one of the best marine electronics businesses in the PNW--Rodgers Marine in Portland. They installed my new GPS/plotter and radar after I got a lightening strike. Here's the new Raymarine MFD


And here's a panel that a friend made up for me to cover the opening where the old radar screen was mounted.
