94 300 DA Alarm issues

Hey guys it's been a while. I'm heading to the lake to work on a 94 300DA tomorow night. Boat has twin 5.7 with v-drives. Last weekend the owner had a problem that within 5-10 seconds of starting the port motor the Alarm would sound. Oil pressure good, temp good, any other ideas of where I should start looking? trans oil pressure or trans temp?

The out drive version alarms if the oil level is low in the drive. As mentioned above possibly transnission related.
