94 270 SD Wood Seat Repair

Looking for someone that has replaced the transom and port side backrest on their 270 Sundancer. Both are wood backing and rotted out. For the transom we are looking for ways to change it up but still have the ability to use the original seat and sun pad. For the port side, I’m trying to figure out how to pull the backrest. It appears I have to pull the ceiling covering from the interior but I’ve struggled to find any documentation on how to do this.
