I have a 93 330 sundancer with V-drives. This particular boat takes off at a high plane and stays at that plane until around 4000 rpm. Maybe there is too much weight in the engine room. Full gas tanks, 4-gc4 batteries, genset with battery, etc. I almost have to stand on the seat to see where I'm going. Has anyone every tried to weight down the front anchor locker with heavier chain or weights to counterbalance? I have trim tabs, but they really don't seem to help when trying to stay between 2000-3500 rpms. Thanks for any suggestions

I have a friend on the west coast with the exact same boat. Equipped with what you have as well. I have been on his boat, and it is slow to plane, but nothing like you describe.
Is this a new boat to you?
Are props in good shape? Correct size and pitch?

The 330 is heavy enough as is, adding weight to the bow does not sound like a fix, rather just a band aid.
