I’ve found one of these that seems to be very clean. The original owner died about a year ago and the neighbor who got it now wants to sell. It’s been well maintained, no rips in seats. Comes with trailer which is also in great shape. First question. I was told it has a 4.3L V6 190 Mercruiser. Does this sound like an option for that year and model. Second question. What do you guys think a fair price would be?

Not quite the same but I have a 94 200 Overnighter 135HP Outboard model I bought three years ago for just over $3k with the trailer. NADA for it is in the $6k range. You can try seeing what else is out that in that age/model online to get a rough idea for what people are asking. I don't have enough excess to afford boating AND a boat payment, so I tend to buy used and private party cash sales. I think I paid a fair price, deferred maintainance, safety replacements and upgrades brings me closer to NADA but happy with it. With 5 persons, about 1000# WOT I get around 40mph, cruising speed upper 20s and people are happy with the ride at that speed.

I purchased same boat but 1990 in fall of 2018. Excellent shape.
$7000.00 CDN plus $1,500.00 CDN for used 3000 Lb trailer.
Included all safety equipment such as life vests, anchor etc.
Same engine, perfect.
Absolutely love it.

Thank y’all. We are currently at $8,500 for boat and trailer. I feel like it’s a pretty fair price if it’s in as good of shape as she says, but don’t want to feel like I’m overpaying.

There is one for sale in Fontana, Wis. (Lake Geneva). $3450. It looks to be in pretty nice shape for the age. Same motor and includes the trailer. Of course pictures can hide a lot of flaws. That said, $8500 seems high to me.

$8500 seems very high for a 1993 boat, no matter what the condition. If I were the buyer I'd be thinking in the $3.000-$4,000 range. Also, do a sea trial first to make certain it still runs.

I’ll definitely be trying it out first. I’m also calling the mechanic that has maintained it to ask some more specific questions. Nada guide has it listed as 6,500 for an average boat. From what I’ve been told this boat seems to be above average. Less than 300 hours. But I’ll know more seeing it in person. Thanks for everybody’s guidance so far!

$8500 might be a little high, but I have found these little SeaRays tend to retain good value. It's like a pickup truck, if it is in good shape no matter how old it is it is worth 5-10k just based on how much a new one costs. They tend to stop depreciating at some point and the nice clean ones even appreciate slightly.
