Where did you get the lettering for the "Four Hundred"? That looks awesome!

I'll also be adding the words "FOUR HUNDRED" under the new emblems later this spring. I need the admiral to do that job as my idea of "straight" and "properly spaced" generally leaves a lot to be desired.

I noticed in your pics (I have OCD lol ) your foam strip that covers your windshield screws looks to have shrunk leaving large gaps, just like mine was , shrunk & badly deteriorating.. drove me nuts every-time I'd wash the boat it would leave black residue everywhere, anyway you can buy 25' rolls from McMaster-Carr part # 8694K149 & it fits perfectly , just spray the adhesive side with soapy water & cut to fit ... unfortunately you need 2 roll to do the job , My wife & I just replaced ours on Saturday, looks so much cleaner ... there's your next project! your welcome ...lol

Yup. I wanted those ones badly. They are another $100 each! I couldn’t do it.

I didn't snap any photos but I managed to replace the foam strips yesterday. Another nice, relatively cheap cosmetic upgrade. The front/center window is "quite tight" but all the rest were a painless swap.

The old foam makes a bit of a mess when it comes out. Having a shop vac in one hand while pulling the strips out with the other would have been ideal. In a pinch a Sea Ray central vac hose stretched to within 1mm of it's breaking point will also work...

I thought about yours before installing the chrome script emblems. My wife said "no". She seemed to suggest the two different ovals would not do well together. She's got an eye for those kinds of things. I, however, do not....

My eye just does not see the need for something in the mid area. I removed the model lettering from the mid and will only have the chrome logo on the arch and will add the model number there in matching chrome numbers on my 3870. Can't wait to get to dome and post it.

Could you get the mid ones off and repurpose them elsewhere in the cockpit or platform area?

I agree, might be to much... I need to have the arch polished anyway, so I'll pull the old emblems off, & once I put the new ones on, I can decide... I did look at some newer models '05 & up & they have both logos, but the SeaRay is below the rub rail

I believe it would be the same... pull out a old piece & it should be 1 1/4 wide 3/4 thick...

I'm actually batting around getting the arch ones with SeaRay Yachts on them. I was just talking to the wife about them this past weekend and she said order them. I was hoping she would try to talk me out of it but that's not working.

Lol, that’s exactly what happened when I showed my wife this thread, she said what are you waiting for.... So I had no choice... lol. searayman13 on eBay is awesome to deal with, but the extra 100 per side for the yacht was too much for me... that plus 40% exchange, so like the OP I ordered the Plain SR emblem for 110 each

I’m glad I’m not the only one. Seems almost silly in the grand scheme of boat expense but I just couldn’t come off the extra $200.
