'89 220DA / HOW TO ACCESS ANCHOR LOCKER???

I have an '89 220DA. I want to add a cleat to the bow. I can not figure out how to access the anchor rode locker. I was told to remove the mirror in the cabin. I tried everything short of breaking it to get it to budge. I pushed up, down and sideways and doesnt move at all. What am I not doing right?

Another question. At the threshold of my aft cabin, at the floor, there is a lift up door to a small compartment about 3" wide and verying depths. What is this? I knew it was there, but havent looked in it for a couple of years. Checked it yesterday and it was full of water. Water may have been there for years. I got all the water out and will check it next week to see if it is still dry.

The anchor locker mirror is hinged at the top. Pull from the bottom. It's kinda hard to pull.

The little area I belive is the sump for the shower drain.

Not to hi-jack the thread... what do you guys have for trailers? Make, model, capacity...

If it is the sump, shouldnt it have drained on it's own? I do not have the shower option, maybe thats why.

I've got an easy-loader, but I dont keep it here, so cant tell you too much. I'll get the details next weekend.

The shower sump was just a guess... I've never opened that small area to look. I will at lunchtime and let you know what I find.

YES! It is the shower sump...

How was it installing the windlass? I have a 1989 280 sundancer and would like to install one...Seems like impossible to hide the wiring?
