Hi,

I'm looking for the port curved section of windshield for my '88 Sorrento S-19 bow rider. My question is whether anybody knows if a windshield from a larger Sorrento is the same size and would fit? it is my understanding these pieces are very expensive to make and perhaps Sea Ray would make longer side sections and a wider pass through, but keep the curved pieces the same on the different sized models. I have verified the height as being the same as a S-24, but no other measurements can be confirmed.

Just got done wet-sanding the hull and she looks beautiful and found the hour meter. 75 original! None of that matters to the wife though, she's sick of being wind-blown after two minutes while I'm tucked behind an apparent rare and expensive windshield!

Please help!

Thanks.

dbeattie, I needed a replacement panel for my 1981 260da. My windshield has the maker etched on the glass panels. My windshield was made by Water Bonnet. I googled them and talked to a tech and he said they did not make the glass piece I needed anymore. Water Bonnet referred me to a glass company in Florida who made me the new panel shipped it and it fit. So the secret seems to be to find the winshield manufacturer. SeaRay des not make their windshields, they use someone like Water Bonet or Taylor. Good luck.

Thanks for the tip Time Off!

Was your piece curved? if so, I'd be interested in that make in FL.

thanks

google up Indy Boat Salvage
they have lots of stuff and several Sea Rays in the yard
and they are reasonable on pricing.
