Gauge doesn't register, I don't thinl it is the gauge. I noticed on another post that you can get to the sending unit through the side storage locker on the port side. Does anyone know?

Steve,

I do not have the answer, however I have the same problem on my 98 310 dancer. The fuel gauge is off by a 1/4 tank.. over-estimates on port by quarter, under-estimates on starbird by a quarter. It is really annoying to keep track when taking long trips. Already ran port empty when the gauge line was still a quarter full!!

Mine are not broken either, however there has to be a way to adjust. Any fuel gauge experts out there?

I think you need to swap guages/senders!! Worse yet, maybe your wires are crossed!! :)

I'm not a hundred percent sure on your boat but I had a 330 Sundancer and I had to replace sending units on both tanks. They had access to both of them, it wasn't easy but it could be done. I would assume there is access on your boat, you'll just have to search. I replace one unit one year and sure enough the other one the next year.

Send units were the problem on my boat, probably the same on yours.

Good luck

Thanks, found access yesterday. Enough room for one hand. I'd say your right about the gauge failure. Sure would like to go one week without a problem, I guess this won't happen.
