I just bought an 87 Seville 21MC and I have some questions. I filled the fresh water tank with water and I can't get the pump to turn on. What is the process to getting it to work? I don't think the previous owners used the fresh water system. I have turned the on the batteries and flipped the switches for the pump but nothing happens.

I also was cleaning out the head and found a key switch behind the toilet. Nothing happens when I turn the key. Any help would be appreciated.

There could be another switch on the dash for your "pressure water" system. Ours has a squiggly type of horizontal line between two vertical lines. This switch gives the voltage to the fresh water pump and is a must so you can turn the pressure off when you leave the boat but still have your batteries turned on.

As far as the key switch goes, I can't help ya there. All we've ever had are simple pump out systems. Sounds like you may have a macerator. Someone here will know and respond eventually.

Oh, and welcome to the forum. Pics:grin:

The key switch is probably for a macerator/overboard dump.

My 210 MC had a manual pump at the sink. Check the wiring to the pump to make sure its getting voltage.
