My sympathy goes out to all of you who have to pull your babies out of the water for several months a year. I'd be dreaming about splash dates too if I were in your shoes.

I stay in all year round. Try to keep her from sitting all winter. Try my best to get out at minimum once a month over the winter. That Said they pulled me out last Friday for paint and zincs and the few days was out I was dieing. Called everyday to c if she was back in. They splashed me yesterday and I was like a 5 year old running to tOys r us to take her for a ride. Brought her home to her new marina about an hour abd twenty away abd had a celebratory drink or two. .. at the dock. Season has begun!
Sorry about rubbing that in...

Mike, arent you glad you didnt have to dock in the wind yesterday?

Hey Glen,

We were supposed to go in Saturday and it was beautiful but it all became a moot point when I did something really funky to my back! :wow:
With any luck we go in Sunday!

I am scheduled for saturday at 3:30pm....i dont even want to go to work just start the packing of the dock accessories, linens and consumables.

At least with this crappy weather we are having this week it makes it a little easier to deal with . I caught it snowing yesterday.

Yep snow here again today, you can ask one of our mechanics if the roads were slick. He was doing the dealer prep on a new $100,000.00+ z06 and when he shifted from 4th to 5th it spun out and went into a ditch. He is one of the top 5 mechanics in the tri county area and very responsible so i believe he wasnt horseing around. He was still shaking when he brought it back.

We should get to launch Sunday morning. Current forecast calls for Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots and 3 to 5 footers in open water!
Thankfully we will be in open water for about 10 seconds

I have not looked at the weather,it dosent matter to me anymore i am just worn out and ready.

Plop......And there was much rejoicing :smt038
(no idea how the pic this got in there twice)
