I have two raw water/fuel pumps for sale. They are Mercruiser, not sure of age but do know they came off of 97 SR with 500 hrs. They appear to be in very good condition but should be rebuilt and the fuel pumps need to be replaced. These pump assemblies cost $650 new, each. Best reasonable offer plus shipping. PM me with offer, questions or if you would like a pic.

Thanks

Russ, I wouldn't mind having a spare, because I've heard they can be hard to find now. Is that not true? What do you mean by the fuel pumps should be replaced?

They are not hard to find new but expensive. The mechanical fuel pumps are connected to the raw water pumps. They need to be replaced, these are bad. The fuel pumps are not expensive, about $125 I think. I don't think the pump assemblies themselves have a high failure rate, they are cast with pressed bearings in it. I had never rebuilt one so I replaced the whole pump assemblies including the fuel pumps (connected to the raw water pumps).
