Quick update... All Prop Speeding complete, thruster props installed, final anti-fouling coat applied, all 12 zincs installed. Ran out of time to install intake grates for main engines, Barrier coats have covered up holes. I'll realign grates to center line tomorrow......Tim
PS: The plastic bags stuffed up all the exhaust have been removed.... Hoping for Fri launch !

She's looking great Tim. You in the water for this weekend?

That's the plan Jon, I scheduled for a Fri launch. I got the " Umm " it's the boat show and we're a bit short staffed, but we'll make it happen for you ..... I'm confident it'll all come together....!

Tim - are you going to head to FL this winter with her?
Hi Carter, that's the plan. I have reservations in Stuart. However, I'm missing two air shows this month and would love to make the Ocean Reef Show( Key Largo ) in Dec. I made it two yrs ago with both machines, but spent sooo much time this yr. " doing it right " on the 60 DA that the Beech-18 might have to sit this one out until Lakeland Fl 2014....Tim

Good catch Jon, but actually, because there wasn't sufficient power there, I robbed a 30amp 125v plus a standard 20amp 125v line on the same phase and ran it thru a " smart box ". The purpose was to run my 240v battery charger & 240v block heaters..... I stayed WELL below amp draws for these items....

That's great Tim. How long will they take to do the props on the -18?

Once I get them to MSP, they need 3weeks. However, I still need to get them off, then build the crates for them.....
Next project is to remake the mounting bracket for the new LED vs the old LCD TV. As you can see, what a difference in a couple of yrs in technology makes......same 32" viewing screen. The LCD is a Sharp 2006 & the LED is a Samsung 2010 which I robbed from one of the rooms in my house. It was the closest in height and width I could find. The 2013s are 2" shorter in height ......

It's looking good!
Friday is looking like a perfect day to get back in the water!

I hope you have time to take and post some pictures when she is in the water. Beautiful boat. Best of luck in your launch and travels.

Ryan, Agreed... I've been at the ANP boat show's when there were snow flurries. It's great to see the PWR boat portion of the two shows get 4 great WX days. It appears that the swap w/ the Sail Show has paid off !

Thnx Joe, I hope to get some shots of the launch as well....
By the way, how'd those shoulder consultations go ? Tim

Consultation went well. Shoulder not so well. I am going to PT every morning at 6:00am 3X a week yet I am in pain all day. On cellebrex, lidocane patch, heat pack, ice and Ciroc. Ok the Ciroc and Malbec in the evening. LOL I go back the end of the month with hopes of convinceing my doctor to replace it. If so then the boat comes out of the water for the winter. If he won't operate then she stays in for the winter.
Quick question - if you launch Friday will you be staying in the area?

One day I'll be invited to spend an evening on a boat that of that caliber. It's beautiful! I hope all goes well on Friday for you. Thanks for sharing.
