Best part of buying a new boat. Get her exactly how you want her. Congratulations, you have reached the pinnacle of ownership in the Sea Ray lineup!

Thank you for this. I tackled the project today and basically followed those instructions. I have no idea why they would glue those trim pieces on. It took me 2 hours to remove them carefully. I decided to use a tv mount that allows me to take the tv off the wall easily. This way you can actually get to wiring through the access holes if necessary.

Chris - I've got a 500 page MSWord document with every tidbit that I've read and tips that were posted here. I could burn a DVD for you when we close the FL house for the summer end of the month (DVD Burner is in Marietta...)

    Nice!

Is the file too big to just email? Or post here?

57 MB, so too big. I'll burn some DVDs next month and I can mail them out.

I would take one. I have several of the sea ray tech guides, but surely not all.

Where do you get tech guides? I must not have rummaged enough; all I've found is the Owners Manual and the Parts Manual...

They were shared from people here, I know I got at least one from @carterchapman and at least one from @bmac.

We launched Wednesday, had my sea trial with MAN this AM after my A1 and A2 service, and ran her 2.5 hours to her summer slip. Had a glass calm ride for 90% of it, but still a bit chilly out there.

I have a very small leak at the hatch in the vip stateroom. I’ve determined it’s not coming from the seal between the glass and the hatch frame. My assumption is I need to reseal the hatch. Has anyone taken on this challenge? If so, what kind of a job is it? Thanks in advance! 9C297C17-2584-4F33-941F-1B2938EEBB50.jpeg

Can you also point us toward where instructions like these are available on the Sea Ray site, or wherever you've found them? (If so, I'd like to scavenge that repository!)

Or where they individually passed by Sea Ray to one or another owner and eventually found their way here through that route?

    Or...?

I’ve got a couple that I’ve posted here…common drain assemblies, AC waterline routing…

RE hatch leak, do you have a canvas cover on that hatch? sometimes the canvas gets caught between the hatch and the seal and that will sometimes cause a leak. Rebedding is not a big deal. Remove, clean, new sealant, reinstall.

I don’t have a canvas cover. I’ve watch plenty of YouTube videos and it looks like a pretty easy job. Going to reseal the hatch with 3M 4000 and put a new rubber seal on. That should do the trick. Thanks for the reply!

I wouldn't use the 4000 adhesive for the hatch. If you ever have to remove it in the future it will surely be destroyed as the frame is pretty thin. I use Butyl rubber tape to seal these types of things; never have leak issues. SR has a propensity to be rather sloppy in cutting hatch and portlite holes and sealing suffers. Place plenty of the tape around under the flange and let it squeeze out and in; then ball up the excess - very easy.
