This is a beautiful example of Sea Ray's sexy, European style sport cruiser, the 580 Super Sun Sport. The styling and overall condition of this vessel has to be seen to be appreciated. Boasting 2 staterooms, 2 heads, Ultraleather electric settee that converts to a double bed, 15'9" beam, huge cockpit for entertaining, the beautiful and desired hi-gloss Cherry interior and sun lounge atop the PWC garage w/ hydraulic hatch. She's sexy, beautiful, impressive and ready to go! Don't miss this one!!

love it. That is one sweet da.

I love the lines and styling of that boat. The engine room though is pretty cool.
I'd love to have it, regardless of the Leopard print. Since Mike (TurtleTone) digs it I'll step out of the way, let him buy it.
Then he can name either
"Banana Hammock"
or
Plum Smuggler

He'd look good with his beachwear and those sheets.

I can vouch for that boat. I have it's twin......

Needless to say. It is my favorite Sea Ray of all time. But I could be slightly biased....
;-)

The ride is the best part. Those 3408 Cats are so strong and smooth. Twin turbo V-8's. The power comes on right away and just keeps coming. I am not as much a diesel expert as Frank W, but this is my third Cat diesel boat and it is light years ahead of the others in performance. It is truly fun to drive.
They still made this boat in 2002 but they called it a 600 then. 800 Cats but not the V-8s and no garage.... ;(. I saw one at the miami show.
I called on the boat mentioned in the thread before I bought mine. That is not a bad price.

Here is how the garage works. (engine hatch is also open in this pic)

I think Dancin Dave is already in his car driving down for that test ride....

Tell him to come on down!
We went from 35' on Teusday to 95' today. I am headed out this sunday! :)

Mine is not for sale but I am talking to Dave about that other one.

How much fuel do those engines burn at cruise?

Thanks G and I'm talking with the wife. Those pictures, what a boat!

Dom, the kids are dreading the thought!

Very nice and timeless design. How much was that new? The current 55 Sundancer is $1.5 mil.

Dave, everytime you head north/south I offer you my dock if you need to pull in.....if you get this 58 (LOA ~65) you may have to back it down the canal and watch the tides getting in.......but not to worry, I still have enough dock space for the 58 and my little 41.......and you're still welcome...

Dom, you dont know how i'm crunching numbers right now and my wife keeps telling me to go to MD in the morning, and thanks for the offer... as always.

I just got a 78' t-head dock last week, when really none were to be had for years, and my bank called me out of the blue with all kinds of good news. NOW WHO WANTS a clean 450?

Thanks Dom,

Dave
