This wouldn't have happened to be "A Family Affair" would it? All white hull with Blue Canvas? Low hours?
 
Congrats on the purchase. We have had our 2003 500 DA for almost a year and love it! I am sure you will as well, enjoy it in good health.
 
BTW, I just noticed that you've been remiss at posting any decent photos of your new boat. We're not going to wait much longer before we start questioning whether this purchase ever happened or not! :wink:

Thanks to all for the nice thoughts! Pictures I need to get to and will. I have to figure it all out and I will look at what Jason is recommending. We are sitting on pins and needles waiting for the transport from KY to AZ. We are having some work done in KY because it worked out better for us. Bottom paint, under water lights etc.

We have year round boating and we do not even have to deal with Winterization. The summers are hot but dry. The two air conditioners in the cockpit will be most apersheated in the 110 degree heat. The winter is in the mid 60's to 70's and yes most days are sunny with blue sky's.

She now resides in Cincinnati, and the boys and I had a great time bringing her up the Ohio last may. Sam and his wife were great to deal with. Boat was extremely clean, and as a matter of fact it is being pulled in April to get a fresh coat of bottom paint, underwater LED lights and all the running gear checked. Been trouble free so far. Heading to the Miami boat show this weekend to look into upgrading the Sat dome and the interior Bose system. Finished the upgrade on the outdoor stereo and top side sound last year. There is just a ton of room outside on the 500 DA's.

Warren you will love yours.
 
We love it already! I am just learning all the systems. It's all good and a fantastic addition to our life!

Good deal. The boat didn't get used much the last 3-4 years so i Imagine the hours were pretty low. you won't have any problems with that boat. She'll just be happy to be used. Sam is a good guy. She likes captain Morgan so feed her often. with all the flooding last spring, glad your trip was uneventful, I would have expected the upper TN and lower Ohio to have been a mess.
