We took our 2002 460 Sundancer to another marina for the weekend and when I went to plug in our shorepower it would not connect to the base pedestal. My boat has 50a/250v and the harbormaster verified the pedestal is the same. We plugged into 2 other pedestals and it would not work either, so the harbormaster suggested we move to another slip that he said had recently installed new 50amp/250 connections and it worked just fine. To make it more confusing a boat just like mine, same year and everything pulled into the slip I just left and plugged in just fine. Any ideas?

Do you have any pics of what's the fimale adapter on the dock looks like? It's possible that the 50amp was 120v in your slip while other slip had 50amp/240v.

Frank...I was going to say the same thing....but geesh...you would think that the harbormaster would have thought of that.....

I thought the plug didn't fit, but if you were able to get the plug in and had no power, then it's a different storry.

Gary,

If he was at Trump's he would have been accused of breaking the power........LOL.
