Just checked on Allatoona Yacht Club's website to verify the fireworks show.

We plan on rafting up in front of the club in the clear creek cove or there about.

On the map it is across from #24 in a north east direction. I think a few from this past weekend may be there.

Bring a couple of bucks to donate to the club for the fireworks. They ride around with a net on a stick asking for donations. We have never been disappointed with the show.

Hope to be there around noon on Sat. Hey Jay can you pm me your cell so I can find yall when we get close. Wife and I and Sh**head and his wife.

Four boats or boaters? Either way come on.

At least me and the 3 kids. The kids are excited to see all the others from last time!

You know there are a lot of Searays on my dock, I wonder if the next time we do a raft up I could make up a flyer? I wonder if that will get me in trouble with the marina?

Might be better to stop and talk with them and tell them about the website and the get togethers.

We'll see y'all there.

I posted some pics of our raft up on Facebook and my buddy who owns the place in the Keys sent me this to make fun of us! I think he forgets who used to get his truck unstuck in the mud in high school!!:smt043:lol:

Did you post those pics on CSR?

Our place is on the same side of the lake as the Yacht Club, and a couple of coves over (next to the big houses overlooking the lake). Save us a spot and we'll be there. Figure one boat and two or three adults and four or so kids.

I do and we will. Thanks

We had a great time with everyone this weekend. I'm working on a video and will post it as soon as It's ready.

Well While I'm waiting on the clips to load I'll tell the story. We had planned on getting out friday to claim a spot but didn't make it to the boat until about 10pm Friday night.

Got up Saturday, Sharion piloted the bow rider with our youngest while me and our oldest manned the cruiser. Actually she slept while I drove. After a stop at the fuel dock we made it over to the cove across from the Yacht Club.

Around noon Alameda Spirit and Mood Swings arrived. Shortly there after Black Pearl arrived with some navigational aid. (Jim took the scenic route). Then Scotzzy showed up after attempting some wake board time. Jim was nice enough to let me and Sharion take the kids out on his brand new SeaDoo. Thanks Jim. That thing is scary fast!

This was the weekend that anyone and everyone we had ever offered to take to the lake wanted to come.:wow: We had a bunch with Sharion making 3 runs in the bowrider to pick them up.

Around 5 a very large house boat 100 foot or so, pulls right in front of our raft up and starts to tie up to shore. I was in the water behind our raft up and didn't see it happening but all our girls did (ages 4 - 8) and started yelling don't park there we won't be able to see the fireworks. I guess it's hard to disappoint little girls because the backed up and move to the other side of the cove.

Fireworks were great! I owe a big thanks to Scott. One of our guests locked the cabin door on the way up with my keys in the ignition. Scott lent me his key and it opened.:thumbsup: Thanks Scott.

Woke up Sunday to rain. The bowrider's neutral switch stuck in neutral this morning. So we had a long slow ride back to the marina, bowrider in tow.Oh well at least it happened after we had safely transported all the guest back to their cars.

IT was another great weekend on the lake.
