Greetings all,

I have a full network on Aftica and use my cell phone as my internet hot spot when I'm at the boat and I want to be able to boost the signal for my cell phone while on board. I usually have 2 bars in my dock and it fluctuates. I think my next project is going to be adding a cell amplifier to cover when I leave the dock and travel far from the cell tower which is located in Sandusky. Does anyone have any experience with this type of device or have one to suggest I look into? I would like it to be omni-directional so I don't have to mess with it. I would also like the ability to boost both Data and call signal. What can you guys suggest?

A Wilson Sleek does a great job and priced right. I use one at home and one the boat. I have recommended this unit to others and it works great! Just choose the model for you service or a universal model. Increased my 4G from an unusable signal to a solid 4G data signal.

Just a learning question.... doesnt that verzion wireless network extender have to connect into your home wifi router with a LAN cable?

Yes - I Suggested it because the OP said he has a Full Network on board

The Wilson one looks promising. Thanks for the info. The samsung is out because it's 3g and streaming movies won't happen. Keep the suggestions coming guys.

Anyone ever purchase the new Wilson 4g pro? I would be willing to buy it if it really helps data speeds .

I've been using Wilson Sleek for a while and in my case it's almost useless. I'd love to find better solution for 4G LTE.

I have been using Wilson Sleek for two years now. I have the AT&T model and it has performed superbly. In marginal areas (like Carolinas) it gave 2 and sometimes 3 more bars. It also works perfectly here in Abacos. I do have an approx 18 inch external antenna mounted on the hard top.
