480DB GHS hydraulic lift - options for a tender

I'm thinking of replacing my current tender, a Zodiac, with a Whaler. The Zodiac with engine weighs about 650 lbs.

I may have two whaler options, the 110 sport (650lbs) and maybe the 130 super sport although at 850lbs it's 50lbs over the limit (There are a few here at my marina however).

Anyone here with a similar setup? I'd like to know how the Whaler holds up on the back. I'm going to call the GHS people and SR to get their view on whether that weight really makes the 130 a non-starter. Anyone here have experience with a 130 on a 480?

I am surprised to hear they are putting 130's on the back of a 480DB! The beam on this boat isn't near 13' at the stern and with the outboard motor up it will definitely be dragging some water. The 130 Super Sport is a great boat and although I wouldn't worry too much about the weight, I would be concerned with the physical size. My 2 cents!
