You might not think so in a couple of years when you are sitting in the Captain's chair on the bridge of your 480DB, sipping a mudslide, staring down at all those Sundancer owners...

I need one more 1 1/4 inch rail mount burgee holder. I bought the Helm product two years ago but there are none in stock. Any suggestions?

It seems you are correct and it sucks. I like reading the other "official" threads -- you can learn a lot.

I've had my 480DB on the lift for 6 years. No bottom maintenance or AC repairs yet. Had 80 mph winds with no worries, just raise it on up.

I installed the lift in 2001. The piles are either 30 or 35 feet long, So either 15 or 20 feet burried. The starboard side has settled about 5 inches over the years, I asked the installer to use larger diameter poles to prevent settling but he assured me that it wouldn't . Thats what I get for trusting the experts.

So at low tide you have 15 feet of piles exposed?

Has anybody ever put one of these on the bridge? I know a guy who put one under the fwd seating area on his 560 so I'm assuming it would probably fit under our U-shaped seats too. is the ac receptacle for the fridge in its cabinet or in the fwd air handler's cabinet?

On a Sundancer, the vac hose reaches all parts of the boat.

Maybe you just need to plumb another PVC run from the bridge to the vac unit.

I am thinking that if you drill a hole in the salon glass window and run the PVC tube up the outside of the boat and then back in through the bridge window curtain, you can get your existing vac to work on the bridge.

My Beam hose reaches the bridge from the rear salon connection... maybe you need a longer hose?

My wife says my hose is long enough also, she doesn't have a problem using it on the bridge.

Now all you bridge boat boys are bragging about the length of your hoses...sheesh, aren't you all ever happy?
