Mike, I see what looks like a false wall at the end of the thruster. See if there are any L-brackets holding it up. My screws were in the bay forward of the central bilge box. Then remove plastic cover covering your electrical connections. Hopefully it is there.
I have several places to look the next time I am at the boat this week. I will let you all know if I find it oil res. Thanks to all who sent a post about this.

Great info here. What weight of oil for the thruster?

Keith
Here's what my 160 KGF Manual says:

Lubrication : oil bath, approx. 0.1 litre (3.4 fl.oz.) outboard gear oil SAE80W or EP 90

Anyone re-bed the oval port holes in the state rooms or heads? Have multiple ones showing signs of leaking. Couple have the dog ears broken off. Looks like the water is coming in from around the frame and not the window gasket material leaking. Any tips? Thanks. Dave
Called SeaRay and was told the porthole window is Bomar's part number S516-6SS-LS. Called Bomar (603-826-5791) now owned by Pompanette Group and they said most likely it is the gasket that has failed and leaking. Took off the retaining ring on inside of porthole and sure enough the leak is not coming from around the porthole, but rather from the gasket around the actual window. Took the old ones out and ordered new ones... Bomar part # P100-32 at $24 per. Will install and see if that stops the leaks. Only issue I am still faced with is the lower middle dog ear on three of my portholes have broken off. They looked to be tack welded to the actual porthole pressed in from outside and heavily caulked. Would need to remove and see if I could get someone to tack weld back on. Thought I would see if new gasket will be sufficient.

Not currently but let me see how many english pages would need scanned. I'll also be at the boat this weekend and will see if I can narrow down the model # for us.

Thanks QT, I would really appreciate that. I got many Opr manuals from the PO's, but absolutely zero on the bow thruster. Please don't go thru a lot of trouble for me on this.

Just looked at the manual, there’s only 4 pages in English plus some specs so I’ll scan them on Monday.

I’m 99% sure our model is the 130 kgf after reading it.

Here is the Vetus bowthruster manual for anyone interested. I wasn't able to verify the model # on mine but I'm 99% sure it's the 130kgf after looking at the manual.

Thanks for the manual. I will check my manuals and see if it is included in my kit. After briefing it, I now need to find the thruster zinc. It never occurred to me that the thruster would have one, even though it makes perfect sense to have one. The learning curve is long.............

Thank you Aaron for copying and sending this. It's folks like you that make this forum such a valuable resource.

I can't recall if it just says cockpit or cockpit/bilge or something like that. It also controls the 110v outlet in the engine room.

Thank you. I'll look for it today. Mike
Doesn't you owner's manual have a drawing like this?
