48 Sundancer Hydraulic Lift Problem

The previous owner of my boat had to replace his for the same reason. Bought this remote as well. No problems with it so far.

Not to side track the thread but I also have the GHS key fob remotes. I can’t get them to work. Is there trick? I changed the batteries but still nothing.

You have to program them. The control box is in the bilge, above the batteries and across from the thruster breaker/solenoid. Well, on the 48 that's where it's at.

Oh I didn’t realize that. They worked at the survey and then had it shipped home, but they haven’t worked since...three years. Just thought there was a pattern to use them with the star or pound buttons underneath the up and downs.
Thanks

Maybe I'm confused. You couldn't get the lift to go down and you just changed the remote and that fixed it? Sorry if I'm not comprehending something here.

On my boat, I hit the hardwired remote which I've ensured is "ON", it beeps beeps beeps, I hit the "DOWN" button and I hear clicking but nothing goes down. Is there a simple fix for this or a troubleshooting procedure someone would recommend I do?

Sorry, not trying to duplicate here. Just trying to assess what on earth is going on with this hydraulic lift.

Thanks,
Tim

I would call GHS, they will walk you through a few diagnostic procedures.
In my case, on the old remote, I was getting the power on light on my hardwired remote, but had no "beep beep beep". The remote was indeed bad and replacing it solved my problem. If you are getting the beep or hearing the solenoid latch, your problem may be different.

Found it, apologies it got a bit crumpled but this shows the new switch and the wires it uses.
