Does anyone know how to access the inside of the reclining chair in the salon on the 460 Sundancer? When I pull the handle the foot rest no longer pops up. I imagine there is a cable inside that attaches to the handle. Anyone have a suggestion or experience with this problem?

I do not but I did notice someone else had issue when they tried to recline in mine, I never have, when I asked them to get up I tried it with no one sitting and it worked fine. Then I sat and tried it without issue.

Probably the cable to the handle has stretched or shifted where it is clamped under the chair. It's tricky to remove the chair but I had to do that a few years ago when that handle snapped; they're plastic. I had the chair on and off a few times before the tensioning was right. But then again I had no instructions and was just figuring it out as I went along.

Try giving the footrest a pull as you gently activate the handle to the maximum position while pushing your back against the backrest. There is a locking cam under the back of the footrest if i remember correctly. It's best not to remove the chair unless you have no other option. Good luck.

Thanks! I plan to mess with it next weekend since I had so much to do to get ready for launch. Hopefully it will work. Enjoy the season!
