When i got my boat three years ago it had Alumiun glm manifolds and risers on them. I'm fwc havn't had any issue what so ever with them. My clock has 746 hrs on them

That is great to hear. I am fairly confident mine will last a long time as well but I have been waiting for someone running the aluminum manifolds for a while to post their results. Do your GLM manifolds have the screw in pencil zinc anodes?

Any opinions/experiences on installing a resonator in the exhaust hose and turbulator plate on top of the spacer to prevent water intrusion?

I installed resonators in the exhaust tubes.
It was a lot of work installing my new motors and I read there's no down size to having them so, what the heck. They don't seem to be constricting the exhaust flow..engines rev out to spec. If they really help anything ... I don't know.
Also, my engines aren't H.O. So, shouldn't have the water ingesting problem anyway.

The turbulator built into the elbow gasket is a great idea (IMHO) ... I didn't know about them until engines were already done. There isn't a direct part # for the older 7.4L but, see some for other applications that may work. I'll may install them later.

I'm unaware of any Zinzs?
where are they installed at. next time i go ill take a pic? my manifolds are FWC

Hi Saverio,
The zincs on the HGE's manifolds are on the side or bottom, can't remember. I was thinking of my spacers when I said (GLM) Sorry. I will get a picture later and post it.
