So the good guests get to sit near the helm nice and warm and those less well liked get to sit out side. :smt043 Gee Dave...

Dave, I too have added the same type of canvas set-up and we are really enjoying using this "aft-drop" this spring, I had my canvas guy make a custom cover for my aft seating and also had made a custom table cover as I have a wood table in my cocpit, we find that for our spring boating we just leave this on and then open the windshield vent a tad when it gets "too hot" from the sun. Even when it's cold outside it is warm under my hardtop. I notice that yours just hangs at the bottom, I have Perko s.s. hardware with elastic tie downs-they work great, I also have put in a few snaps by the steps. Mine was made by Goia Sails for the boat and it fit so well that I can go back and forth between my other canvas set-no problem.

Hi all, it is custom. However the craftsman were not very crafty. It was there first one and had no clue. But it does serve the purpous.

Actually there are 2 snaps at the bottom below the cockpit sink as well as below the seat just aft of the fridge and on the stbd seat beneath the seat. they also added a couple of snaps on the floor beneath the carpet if I ever take it out. there are also 2 webbing straps that snap to the grab bar at the sink and beneath the stbd seat cusion. I also wanted the a cover for the seating and table but this couple did not have any searay experience or the desire to do much more than recreate rather than create. the difference between a true artist and someone just getting by.
I do believe you get what you pay for, and I did. Petep I did want and mention those elastic and perko fasteners, but it fell upon deaf ears.

Dave, I'm sure that you like having that drop as an alternative to the other larger canvas. I wish that I was good with the computer to add a picture of the Perko fasteners, and the stay-put style elastic because they really make the canvas tight. They have round s.s. rings that go into a sliding track on the Perko brackets that I screwed into my cockpit floor. If you look in a west Marine catalog they are called Fender Holders. What I did was look at all the boats like mine I could find that had these hold downs and placed them in the same position as I remembered. Works like a charm-the canvas does not rise up or flap in the wind. You say you have some snaps and velcro strap so you may not need them.
