450 DA 1997 Model Year 139,000

Hi Tim congrats on the Formula and in your private message yes the diesels are very efficient. I burn around 20-22 gph at cruise. When you mentioned a 50 boat the 450 is 50 ft 10 inches. Great ride and super comfortable that's what it's all about.

Thank you,
Tom

So spring is around the corner and it's time to get serious, who is looking to make the jump up to a 450 in pristine condition? As I had mentioned earlier our broker does take clean trades and offers several great incentives when buying a boat ( captains training, cleaning, etc ).
The price is also negotiable for those who are serious.

Thank you,
Tom

I just found out as a bonus to you the buyer our broker will REIMBURSE ON THE SURVEY AND HAUL OUT AFTER SETTLEMENT ON OUR BOAT!!!!!

How's that for an added incentive?

I can't believe this beautiful boat hasn't sold yet. I think I saw it on yachtworld too?

At that price the boat would probably be gone before he finished typing the reduction.

I bet not.
Let me explain my thoughts. The difference between 100k and 129k is negligible. Meaning if you finance, the payment wouldn't be much lower, and if you have 100k to spend on a boat you probably have 129k to spend on a boat.
The deal is, this is a huge boat. 50ft, of maintenance, 50ft of dock space and fuel bill for it.
Everyone loves to dream, but everyone knows what it takes to upkeep a boat of this magnitude.Takes commitment.
No doubt this boat is clean. It will sell in the spring. You buy a boat in the winter at a steal, or you wait for the spring when you can use it.
If you look at YW, there are plenty of 450's to choose from....at right around 130k.Funny how they are all priced about the same...asking price.
There are a couple at 107 and 109k...what does that mean?

I mean no disrespect, and I mean no harm. I think this yacht is great and taken care of. But that doesn't sell a boat these days.
The boat in good shape at the best price (read give away) gets bought.

Hopper, you really think a 22.5% reduction in price is negligible?

Guys, there are very few pristine 450DA's that ever come to market. This is one. Rather than saying a boat you have never even laid eyes on is over priced, consider what it takes to get the cheaper ones on YW seaworthy, cosmetically acceptable and all the deferred maintenance caught up....... significantly more than the difference between the asking price here and the cheap ones on YW. So I have to agree with Mike...in the grand scheme of 50 ft boating, the difference between $100K and $129k shouldn't be a deal breaker especially after you see a 450 in average condition.

As kind of a disclaimer, I have known this boat since Tommy bought her 9 years ago. We have become friends and have talked about every significant thing that has come up on his boat. I feel like I know her as well as my own 450. This is truly a turn key boat....you can jump on her and take your first trip the day you close. She won't need a month in the boat yard and several trips by the Cat technicians to make her ready for the season.

The only dumb offer is the one that you never made!

Sounds like you are mulling it over. I've been looking for a bigger boat for months now, and if this one weren't a couple of feet out of my price range, way more boat than I need, I'd probably take a ride. This one looks like it's worth a look see.
