44DB Salon AC condensate

To save me from digging into this, I thought I would try to answer this question the easy way...

Does the salon AC condensate dump into the shower sump on our boats or where does it go?

The condensate does drain into the shower sump. The A/C unit sits in a tub molded into the cabin floor. The drain on the A/C is open and the condensate drains into the tub which has a hose connected to the shower sump. Needless to say this causes a mess if this is not kept clean. On my boat the pan was very rusted and the drain hose was plugged with the rust about 3 feet down the hose.

Thanks. Mine was replaced with a Cruiseair Turbo model and it appears to have a fiberglass pan. I need to investigate a little more.
