420AC stereo memory breaker keeps tripping

As the title states the breaker keeps tripping.

Even with the radio unplugged from the harness it trips.

Any suggestions?

The circuit is short to ground somewhere between the breaker and radio.

I was thinking that but nothing has been touched.
