410AC Cabin Door

We are new 1987 410AC owners and the original refrigerator has finally give up the ghost. What is the best way to get it out of there? The doorway is to narrow but it appears from the outside that the fiberglass panel the door slides over can be taken off after you take the door off. Is that true and if so how big a job is it.

Hello Bruce,
don't know if you already have tried, but, yes the doorway can be opened up pretty easily. Screws on both interior and exterior need to be removed.
Make sure you have several strong people with you as the Admiral fridge on ours was very heavy and very ackward to remove. Could not find an exact size replacement so we wnt with a Daiwoo fridge and had to remove the storage cabinet above the fridge. good luck
