410 Sundancer/Express Cruiser and 400 Sundancer/Express Cruiser **Official Thread**

Has anyone determined why water occasionally shows in the floor compartment of the aft stateroom of an ‘08 40DA?

Are you shower sumps over flowing or water collecting in the bilge just ahead of that area?

I’m back at boat on Tuesday for the survey. I’ll check.

is the architecture set up that the shower sump drains into that aft compartment? My initial thought was the water could be cracked.

I have a 410, very similar. I think the sumps for the AC's and showers are in the aft most compartment, but likely fresh water lines and AC cooling water lines are in those areas and could be the source. I had water there one time from an AC water line running to the front AC.

Thanks to Riptide III (Phil) for his expert skill and craftsmanship - installing a new floor in my 1997 Sea Ray 400 Sundancer . And thanks to Sandi for letting me borrow him for a week to do the job!

Ahhh man, that's exactly how I'd like mine to look...great job...Wood? Just need you both to head down to the Chesapeake...

I made some progress yesterday, got the ice maker out. Part of the confusion for me was a shelf the prior owner made in this cabinet. The shelf made it a little less apparent how the wall would come out. Once the center wall was removed it was very straight forward.

I need to fab up some supports for the fridge but hope to get it installed this weekend.

Well...as with every other boat project I undertake...the fridge was slightly more difficult than expected. I took the ice maker and the panels home last week to prep in the comfort of my garage. I cut the panels and made a base for the fridge - ready to go on Friday. I was fully aware that the clearances would be tight but..not..."that tight".

Fortunately I bought an Isotherm fridge with a detachable compressor. I can't say for sure where my math went wrong but I was a few inches off (story of my life) on the depth of the fridge. Especially with the AC outlet directly behind the compressor location.

After some self-reflection and contemplation of the meaning of boating, the fridge is installed and running well. This week I need to fab up a shelf to hold the compressor, cut out the side panel for the hoses/lines and cover the opening below the fridge. Then done...enjoy some cold beer.

I know it's been a lot of hard work, but the installation looks great. Is there a vent cover or something that goes at the bottom of the fridge?

Anyone have a part number I can take to an auto parts store for the hatch supports for the "trunk" Mine are pretty old looking. I see on the sedan bridge 400 forum they are 12"-20" 70 lbs. is that the same as ours?

I replaced mine last year and just found a set with specs that match the sea ray parts guide (0674356 CYLINDER GAS 40 PSI 20 EXT X 12 COMP) 20" extended, 12" compressed. I can get a picture of the actual unit, but you should be able to match these specs.

Looking for a little help. I've got a 98 400 Sundancer with 2 ripped port window screens and 1 window in the 1/2 bath with a leaking gasket when it rains. I can not find the part# or anyone who carries them. I would like to replace all the screens/gaskets on these port windows. I've seen in past posts they make a screen/gasket combo but no other info. If anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Be careful after you open the side windows, after I opened mine they never sealed properly again! I ended up having to replace the seals and have left them closed ever since!

On my 34 I had to remove the entire window and replace the seals. The exterior part can be tricky with the gel coat.
