My galley sink drain empties into the main sump that contains shower,vanity, and A/C condenser drains.
This seems like a problem going to happen.
Has anyone pulled the under counter waste basket and undercounter lazy susan out and, now with room to work, installed an above the water thru-hull and rerouted the galley sink drain overboard??
I really don't want any food residue getting into the sump and plugging the bilge type pump.
Also.....have any of you 'cut' the composite type material the sink/counter is made of? I would like to cut the drain hole larger to fit a "home sized" drain/strainer in the bottom of the sink. Isn't it a Corian type material??
