It seems that that before I got the boat they had some work done to it. One engine has 6 hoses coming off the housing and the other only 4 it dosen't have the 2 that go to the upper exhaust. Would it make a difference if I just get a 4 hose housing and plug those 2 holes? Having a hard time finding the 6 hose housing.
Thanks
Bob

got photos? That would help. Fresh or raw water cooled? I know when I got the new style housings there was the "T" that went to the riser was no longer built in to the thermostat housing, but had a screw in "T". Is it possible that they plugged this hole for some reason?
Does yours look like this, with two coming out of the top of therm housing? The top tee with the balls is the one that I was saying screws in that maybe is plugged.

I can't remember how it's plumbed, but don't two of them go to the heat exchanger for the hot water heater?

They come out of the front of the intake area on the top of the water pump. Those should be 2 other connections on the port engine. He said the ones going to the risers. Thats why I asked if it was RWC or FWC, maybe something different there? You can see the one elbow on my old engine.

That's right, I remember now. I have two that go to my exhaust manifolds, and two that go to the risers, an intake, and the water pump, just like
Wilee. I count 6 like that. However, on our newer runabout, there are just 4 (one to each manifold, water pump, intake)

Here is a pic of the housing. It is a raw water system and not hooked to the water heater. The 2 extra hoses go to the top of the risers. I guess no pic because it won't load.
