3rd Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic City

Re: 3rd Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic

Jeff - play your cards right and get MM to demo it to Illuminator (Marc) for the fuel down and back and dockage . His 58 is two years old, so he's ready for a new one!

I'm going out Barngat.. It is fine. There are no problems with the channel we use

Seatow says proceed with caution btwn 38 and 40. Shoal in to the north side of the channel. And Rod, tell all the folks how many times you've run aground ;-)

You can go out Manasquan... We are spending Thursday night anchored at Highbar... If you want to join us and follow me through the shoals... I don't run a ground, I dredge....

Capt'n Ron,

Put me down, again this year, for the green stuff and deviled eggs... I will call to make my reservations latter this week... I always like to see if my boat runs before I make my reservations...

The list grows
31 boats, 80 people and an additional 10 people coming by car.

Re: 3rd Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic

Was planning to investigate the LEI this weekend on my jetski, but it was too damn cold. So went out the LEI on Saturday in a 54' Viking (calm and high tide). Minimum reading was 4' under a boat that draws 5'. Followed the markers all the way out. It was deep all the way out to the last pair of buoys and then you hit the shoal between the buoys and the LEI marker. If you can time your trip to mid to high tide.....no issues.

Wish I could be there.... Have fun!

Re: 3rd Annual Dominic Annunziata Memorial Rendezvous -Farley State Marina, Atlantic

As much as I would love to make it (had a hall pass and everything) I can't make it since I have had to take off some unexpected days to deal with some family stuff. I will be following the festivities from the left coast unless something unusual happens. Huge bummer for me...

Gary and Ken...gonna miss you guys.

Gary, you interested in sponsoring again this year? It won Turtle a Grammy. Might cure your arm and score you an IPO of $400 per share.

Brave on the part of the Viking owner Ed!
Tides are NOT going to be real favorable at the time we'll be passing there. We're going to go out Barnegat Inlet unless conditions suck, in which case we'll take the "inside passage."
Thanks for the info!

I think Four Suns still has the shrink wrap from 2011 on it.

Just called with my CC... My boat is not splashed yet.. Hopefully this weekend... We still plan on anchoring Thursday night at High Bar Harbor just in the the Barnegat inlet, if anyone wants to raft up just throws us a line...
