The video is simply amazing...nice use of a drone. Sorry I could not attend this year but next year count me in. Like the pics of each boat in attendance too. I see many of those boats visiting my marina (Shelter Harbor in Beach Haven). What are the facts on the drone? Hope you are planning to coordinate again with fake fest....I stopped in to hear some of them on Saturday.

Tim does a great job with the drone. The sped-up video doesn't do his abilities justice. He's almost theatrical with it. The pans, the low-flying, the "rise and pull away" move. Great stuff. He's been practicing a lot and it shows!

Great video and looks like a perfect event! I hope people realize how much Rick and Ron put into making this such a great event. Kudos gentleman!
BTW, the drone adds some nice perspectives, nice job Tim.

Guys, lest we not forget the good people from Dom's HOA, Berkely Shores Homeowners Civic Assoc, led by Ken Gerb. Ken organized 15 boats and 7 carloads of people, which is probably 40% of our attendance at this event. He gets food offerings, shirt sizes, boat names, captain names, LOA, beam, power requirements, even make and model and how each part is getting down there (via ocean or ICW). Ken is an integral part of each Dom X event. This a tight knit group of people that Dom took trips with and lived amongst and they are great friends to us all, and merging our group with theirs has added a lot to the rendezvous.

Video looks great Ron! Well done as always.
I believe someone asked particulars of the drone... it is a Yuneec Q500. Shoots in 1080p. For these shots I used 50 frames per second (fps), but it also can do up to 60fps.
