390MY davit system

Still contemplating giving my H20 Hurley with 36 inch extensions a shot. I don't see why this wouldnt work. Or even the h30

Sorry to tell you but it’s not going to work unless you have an extremely short tender. Basically you have a small trailer that swings 90 degrees in line with the center of your boat with trailer crank headed directly towards your bow. You just do not have the room to use it even with 36” extensions.

You are referring the the H30 not the H20. What about the H20 with extensions. It will extend the dinghy 14 inches out

Magic towing is working on a towing system for a dinghy like the PWC one they have.
We Want a dinghy also, but haven’t seen
Anything we like yet. Our goal is not to use the swim platform since it is small
Already.

Agreed. The H20 I have might work but would likely need something to ratched it up. Im very interested in seeing something that works for our 390's but I do not want the St Croix and particularily happy with the Sea Wise manual crank

I am new, hope magic tow works it out.
Dinghy would be very handy and the grand kids would love it.

We had a Mercury 320 Rib with 20 hp Merc on it on the back of my old Chapparal 330 Sig. Loved it. Was light weight , plenty of power to get on plane with 4 adults and small enough to manuever. I need to figure out a way to get it on our new 390 while still being able to use the platform to board and unboard during transport.

I wonder if anyone has put a crane on front and placed on bow instead since its so massive up there

Haven’t seen one, but the admiral wouldn’t approve it on her patio.

JM390 I ordered the towdster tri today. Hopefully it works ok at cocktail speed.
Cheap compared to everything else.

So narrowing down options looks like the H20 davits with 36 inch extensions will work or the Sea Wise would work good too. Suncoast inflatables shows a 390 with the seawise on it. My only concern is bolting the backets to the back and hitting the water tank when drilling. Anyone have the Sea Wise setup on a 390/40?

I'm not familiar with the 390MY platform layout, but would any of the several options on this site possibly work?

I purchased and installed the "extended undermount system" last summer. So far I like it for my 9.5 ft RIB with 15 hp engine.

Below are some photos of the installation on my boat. I added the blue soft loops as connection points for hook-end ratchet straps.
