Looking for fast help if anyone has the knowledge..... I have my 390 loaded on the back of a truck and the hauler can't go anywhere until he can remove the arch supports. To do that he needs to get to the bolts in the cabin, the bolts are behind the trim that surrounds the skylight, there's two screws that they can find but they are stumped because it is still solid as a rock holding tight to the ceiling. Every search I can find comes up with nothing and Sea Ray doesn't open until Monday. Any help is much appreciated!!

This is a wild ass guess, so please bear with me. I had to replace the handle on the sliding screens on one of my helm hatch covers this season. They are the Oceanaire brand. Although the frame looks like it is held against the ceiling with four screws in the corners, it actually is held in place by the plastic liner trim that connects to the hatch. On our Sabre this hides the airspace in the hollow hardtop. The Oceanaire frame has a lip around the inside and the liner snaps into it. That's a poor written description here is a link to the product I have on our boat that shows drawings and has links to Oceanaire documentation. If you have them great, but at the least may give you an idea of what else to look for. Here is the link:

Are you talking about a 390 with a hard top? I had an 05 and it shipped without being dismantled.

Appreciate it, but I’m actually referring to the skylight inside of the cabin downstairs itself, the two stainless supports that go from the dash up to the hard top bolt into the ceiling of the cabin downstairs, they can only be accessed by removing the trim piece around the skylight in the cabin.

I am yes, Massachusetts has a maximum bridge clearance of 13.5’ on all roads… The boat will need the arch removed (done already) and the two stainless supports going from the dash up to the hard top removed…. The posts are 14’9” off the ground right now, once removed the clearance to the top of the windshield is exactly 13’6”. They can’t figure out how to remove the trim surrounding the skylight downstairs in the cabin, Once that’s removed they have access to the bolts holding the supports to the dash upstairs.. theyve tried every way, the trailer that they are using might be taller than others but the boat is already loaded onto their trailer. Piss poor planning I suppose but I’m stuck with the situation now and they’ve been sitting in the parking lot with nowhere to go since last night trying to figure out how to remove the posts.

The marina is closed until Monday so they can’t haul the boat off the trailer and see Ray customer service doesn’t open until Monday so they can’t give guidance until then, so either way unless they’re able to figure out how to take those hard top support posts down they are stuck sitting in the parking lot until Monday morning, it’s an awful situation

Sorry to hear about your problems. Although I have not pulled the skylight trim I have taken a few Searays apart and have found screws behind upholstery where they just tucked the vinyl in after assembly. I found them by pushing around and feeling the screws. I have also seen pieces held in by Christmas tree fasteners that were very tight.
Good luck getting her home!

thank you, I just passed that along to them. They’re still stuck in the parking lot… since Friday night

I just wanted to update incase anyone runs into this in the future... Attached are instructions Sea Ray customer service emailed to me to remove the trim surrounding the salon skylight. This is one of the major reasons Sea Ray is such a good brand in my opinion. Who else will provide such valuable assistance on a 17 year old boat.
