This is what happens when Captain Morgan takes over the helm. Not pretty.
Happened at our marina last month. . .

OUCH !!.

So let me see if I have this straight: Boater crashed his boat into rocks and turned it into a hot tub. Old guy breaks leg on rocks going to check it out. Rescue team couldn't get to the old guy due to the rocks. Narrator/filmer helped carry out old guy but could only go a 100 yards at a time due to his "condition". Narrator friend looking to 5-finger discount the cockpit table from the boat.

That about got it?

ZZ13,

You left out salvage company going to cruise ten miles up the lake on one engine with a hole in the bow.

am i the only one amused by the karma here?

Here is a guy that takes time to hike out to a jetty, record a 9 minute video of someone else's misfortune and posts it on the internet for the world to ridicule.
But, karma has the last word and makes sure someone doesn't walk back on their own two legs.:smt021

Not sure what you're talking about here... There was no ridicule in the video that I saw by the CSR person posting above, and he helped an older man that went out to see what was going on and that's who broke his leg... Karma??

I'm with Barry. I didn't see any part of that video that ridiculed the boat driver. The friend who made the joke about the Sundancer's table....well that was just a joke. No attempt at a five finger discount. Maybe the humor was a bit in bad taste, but who hasn't made a joke in a situation like this.

Anyone know if that Sundancer was from the marina where the breakwall is located, or was he a visitor to that area?

There was no ridicule in the video but the first sentence of the op's thread says "This is what happens when Captain Morgan takes over the helm" insinuating the the captain was drunk. For people who do not drink alcohol, Captain Morgan is a spiced rum. I prefer Sailor Jerrys just before I plow into a seawall :)

I do appreciate the op's time and effort to post the video. It does take some time and computer gigabytes to make a short video!

That sucks though, the 390 is a beautiful boat with the blue hull. We have one identical to this one in our marina and I often walk by it longingly... Hate to see one end up as a complete loss, as that one surely is.

Hi guys. To answer your questions on the video - the boat was from our marina (berthed across from us). Yes, driver was charged with impaired + dangerous driving. Ya, the joke about the table was probably not in the best taste, but no harm meant, just a bit of nervous energy blowing off. I mean, look at the scene.
As for my 'condition', I have MS and sometimes walking is a little less stable than normal. Now you know that, too. You can check out the vid directly on YouTube watch page to see all the comments, a link to the 'official' news story as well as assorted comments/questions/replies on the incident. . .

You did/said nothing wrong here so no need to waste your time responding to the silly comments. Thanks for posting the video. Good reminder to us all that no matter how much much money/success you have, nobody's exempt from the dangers of drinking and boating.

Thanks Boogaboo, good post, thanks for sharing!

I've seem some of your other videos and have thoroughly enjoyed them. Keep it up!

Even if the captain was impaired....that mad me sick to see. I'm kinda sorry for the guy. Nice boat gone to scrap

Well. I apologize if my summary offended anyone, especially the OP. It was nothing more than an attempt at innocent humor.

I don't often drive my Sea Ray into the sea wall, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis.

LOL - I almost choked on my drink when I read this Scott...

No offense taken, no worries! I just wanted to set the story straight. BTW, the boat is being repaired. . . .

Thanks for the thumbs up on my other videos, Andy. But I think you might just be partial because of the beautiful Sedan Bridge in most of them ;-) Check my YouTube channel for new boating fun regularly!

And yes, some classic lines from you all - especially the Dos Equis one

I enjoy your videos Boog - I followed your maiden journey from the MacRay boathouse. I think I stumbled across that before I even had seen you here on CSR...
