I am repairing the system monitor on my 1989 390 EC.

The main board is corroded but the components are accessible (not potted).
I think I can replace a few resistors that rusted off and a few wires over the corroded traces.

The remote termination board has a burned out resistor which appears (from numerous comments on other boards) to be a common failure point. Does anyone know what the size of the resistor I circled in the picture below?

The color bands are key and will tell you the resistance. Unfortunately from the picture it looks like they are burned away. Next would be a schematic that reflects values. Does someone have a board that's not cooked that you can reference? Here is one of many color band references:

Thank you for the reply. I'll ask around the marina. I noticed there are many posts about this board. I decided to completely rebuild the main (LED) board. Once I have a working board, I will post how others can order a replacement board and list of components to make their own.

I have a 1988 390 ec so would interested in what you come up with

I'd be curious as to what caused that kind of corrosion in the first place. I see some leave the isenglass windows of the boat most of the time and allow rain water to soak the dash area. I wonder if that may be the reason the board has failed. Mine still works and looks fine.
