Well woke up to a mess this morning. The front head toilet decided to take water but no vacu flush. Can't hear the pump and when I try to reset the breaker a very red power light comes on. Being new to vacuflush, I'm lost. I did get a wet vac hose down there and sucked everything out that I could reach. Nasty job, I don't recommend it. Couldn't see an obstruction. So now I'm lost.
Anyone had this happen before and what do I doo doo?

Had one kind of do this but turned out to be a leak in the hose from the value generator to the head. Vacume generator ran till it over heated then popped the breaker.
I agree with you on not recommending this kind of clean up.

Seems to me if the pump or the sensor on the vacume generator unit is shorted. I would disconnect the unit to see if the breaker trips. That isolates the problem between the vacume generator and boat wiring. If the wiring is ok it's just a matter of isolating the motor or the vacume sensor. Got to be one of those two units. While your at it might check the bellows and do the duck bill replacment thing. Hope yours has easy asscess.
Take care

if the breaker is tripping right away, you most likely still have a blockage. Might start at the tank end not the head end.

Is breaker popping? If yes then likely pump is seized, if not then you are looking at clogged hose

Hi
You can easy check the vacum genarator.
On the top you have a lid. Take that of
There is the sensor you see a spring there try to push it down a little bit. If it's ok the pump will start. Waste can clogg the sensor.
I hope my english is deccent.

It's awesome Torgny, thanks I'll give it a try.

Hi Clark
Do you have two toilets ?? If you have that and the other one is ok. Then I think problem can be the contact on the pedel
When you push it down to flush.

Even faulty water valve by foot pedal wouldnt cause lack of vaccum.

When you push it down. The pedel should start the vacuum pump too.
I had a same typ off problem this summer.
Have changed the pump and sensor.
Suddenly it didn't work. And my girlfriend sad whot did i do now. I went down in the engine room took of the lid on the generator and push down the spring on sensenor pump started again. Probably had some waste had clogg the sensor. From now on when we have done number two we flush one time extra just whit water get the system clean as possible.
I hope my english is deccent.
