36 Sedan Bridge Owners

$8000 for a extended swim platform? I think it was a $3000-3500 option on my boat. But I do love it, it chanced the looks of the boat and is a great place to hang out

36DB Owners- If you have any questions on the Eplex system, give me a shout. I'm pretty fluent in it and may be able to help you guys out in a stinky situation. The system can give your local technicians a headache that might be an easy fix and can be diagnosed pretty easily. Happy Boating !!

I talked to Dale (Rougediver) for about a half hour tonight about the E-Plex, and he really knows his stuff. Nice to talk to someone who knows the real story. I highly recommend you contact him for specific questions/problems or just general knowlege. I feel like I know a bunch more than I did before...

Take him up on his GENEROUS offer!

My E-Plex has worked great to date (knock on wood)....This is why this board is so valuable....I will say again, this board has saved me at least $1,500.00.

Because I am looking to trade, there has been two buyers who also had trades and the numbers just not work for the buyer, myself and Hyannis Marina.....So not sold yet....I keep asking myself why am I selling.....Great boat

Does anyone have a picture of the sofa sleeper they offer on the 09 version? I would really like to upgrade my sofa to a sleeper in my 07, but want to see a picture.

Thanks,

Are you talking about how the starboard sofa seat slides out about a foot? Or, is there something more substantial in the '09 model, like a real sleeper?

I thought someone on here had said there was a sleep sofa version for this boat on the 2009. It's nice that that starboard side sofa slides out a foot or two, but I would hardly call that a "sleeper" although I have had plenty of people sleep there. I too would be interested in purchasing the sleep sofa option if that really is an option and is available from Sea Ray provided it will fit in the existing spot. Pictures would be great if anyone has them!!!

I could be wrong, but a pullout would not work do to beam and space constraints......You need to jump to the 44 to get a pullout

Here is the info from the 2009 brochure, I hope this is something new.

Seating, Loveseat - Port
(Ultraleather HP™)
Seating, Sofa - Converts to Bed -
Starboard (Ultraleather HP)

I think that's what it said in the '08 specs. Mine pulls out about a foot. Fine for a small kid, but forget about an adult.

No...the Stbd couch is a pull out. I will see about getting some photos today and posting them here.

Ok - so there are three other smaller filler pads that fill it out more but they are in the house and I didn't feel like getting them for the photos. Here is what you have:

Wow, that's pretty cool. Does the backrest fold down on my '08 as well? How do you get the back to fold down? I need to get back to the boat to check it out.

The backrests in the 2008 model is fixed and does not fold down. The 2007 and 2008 models also have arm rests and it appears the 2009 model in the picture does not have the armrests when the sleeper is in sofa position. Nice layout though, and I would be very curious to see if that is available to be installed in the older versions and how much! If anyone can get pricing, let us know!

Overextended - Thanks for taking the pictures, looks like this would be perfect for for one or two kids.

Thanks Overextended, I understand why the differences in length by year. Hadn't realized the extended swim platform was added to the stock configuration. So here is how I assume the numbers work out.

2007 37' 6" - no swim platform
2008 37' 6" - no swim patform
2009 38' 4" - 10" swim platform
2010 40' 9" - 3' 3" swim platform (now called 390 Sedan Bridge)

I'm confused! The LOA on the '07 is 37'6" without any extended platform. The LOA on my '08 is 38'4" without any extended platform. I just got the latest brochure from Sea Ray, and it lists an LOA of 40'9" w/std. swim platform. It doesn't mention anything about an extended swim platform anywhere in the standard equipment or the option list. They must be including the extended platform as standard equipment, although they don't mention it anywhere, or show it in any of the pictures or diagrams of the layout. I don't think they keep changing the hull.
