Hi where is the amp for the cockpit speakers located? It has stock clarion unit so I assume cabin speakers go directly to stereo? And cockpit have separate amp like on my 280DA

thanjks

What year? All of my amps are under the couch in my '05. You just have to pull out the berth all the way and there they are.

2006. which couch? The rear cabin? Its a friends boat he just got. I have a 280 so helping him out

Thanka

The big curved couch in the middle of the cabin. Slide the bottom out and they're all mounted right there underneath.

I think the standard amps on the 2004 are buried behind the DC control panel by the stereo. I am going to be digging into mine this weekend to work on an issue. If you go in remember that there is 120VAC circuits in there also.

Mine is the same as Kevin.

Will investigate today. Finally no rain in NY.
These are mine and they are behind the DC panel.

U have to pull the dc panel to access those and get access to the clarion too right? I dont see a way to slide clarion out from its chassis

Stereo is calrion xmd3. Cockpit speakers are muffled. Amp issue? I read somewhere about checking low pass setting on stereo but dont see any setting on the head unit to do this. Anyone know?
Thanks

Six screw on the DC panel for my 2004 340SDA. You should see what I posted on the rear wall.

For the Clarion there are two trim pieces, one on each side that pop or slide off that will reveal for screws. The whole unit will slide out. May have to help it from below as there is a big bundle of cables attached.

Yep, that's my problem and I have a thread started for it.
