3400 lowrance

Trying to figure out how the 3400 lorance unit in my 1990 270da works.
It's not on at engine start up and I can't find a switch anywhere, does anyone know it it's supposed to be on at start up or am I missing something.

There is usually an accessory switch for many of our electronics. Do have have an "ACC" switch someplace? Do all the rest of your electronics at the helm work? Have you checked all the breakers/fuses?

It could be wired to come on at startup... it could be wired to a switch... follow it's wires behind the dash. Or, it could be not working. Follow wires - check for power - see if the ducer is clicking.
