I just purchased a 2000 340 sundancer.
We are trying to set up the aft for sleeping but feel that we are missing something . There were two fibreglass section that came with the boat. One is a table that sets up between the two back bench seats and the other is a fibre glass section that appears to make a lounge area between the two bench seats. Neither seam to fit the aft to complete the bed. Can someone explain the sleeping set up for the aft cabin.

Thank you
Paul

The aft cabin (actually called the mid cabin) bench should just pull out flat. You don't need a filler plate. You simply pull on the middle section of the bench and it will move forward (boat forward). You then use the loose cushions around the outside of the bench to fill in the aft side gap.

Edit - I changed the photo to show the bunk...in case folks were wondering what kind of meth lab I had going on in my old 340 with all the PVC pipe...:)

I appreciate your help. Great site.

Thank you.

Also, the table that's in the cockpit can be used between the seats, like the other section, to make a sun pad back there. If you have a full enclosure, it's also where we've slept extra kids at times. There should be 2 pads for back there.

That’s good to know. Thank you.
